Their region lock is crazy strict. My bud and his wife, since they are in same region and CAN play together, are debating now whether to buy as well. See, not being able to play with your overseas friends makes you no money, Pearl Abyss. Mods, or whoever they are, who type in green, tried to help at first, but then just stopped responding to the issue when hour in and still no dice.
Actually, mate, Tera WAS region locked up until recently when they introduced fishing, and all that. The reason it is not region locked anymore is because their playerbase had been dwindling so they combined all regions and such to bring it back up.
I played for a while, and had one of the top 20 guilds on my server. Really looking forward to finally trying this out. Been on the fence about getting this, was hoping there would be some kind of trial, so thanks for this! Will trophies unlock after the beta?
I have already bough the game and have progressed to level Nice women designs…game looks poor though. Figure even the beta is a waste of time…maybe not. Like, this just seems like a lack of caring on the developers end to explain things and slowly introduce players to their game.

Good thing — this BETA saved me money. Actually Tera is region locked. This pet increases Knowledge Gain Chance, allows players to loot items, and helps find rare items. Head to the PlayStation Store: 1. Search Black Desert 2. Select Standard 3. Go down for Demos 4. To give an idea of what the full version of Black Desert consists of, a post on the PlayStation Blog gave a rundown of some of the events players will find in the beta.
